I'm interested in finding out what the true (fair) prices for the dyes are so that when i want to buy them i know im not getting a poor deal.

Best guide for Dye Prices is to go to a Dye Trader and see what is currently being offered for them - base your prices on that.

In my experience, the general estimate for trader prices will be:
Black - 5 Plat
Silver - 700
Blue/Red - 400
Green - 200
Purple/Orange/Yellow - 150

Other people may see them differently, but thats what I've generally seen.

Check the dye trader. The price of dye varies because of supply and demand.

I know that silver is getting up to 2k, and I don't even want to know about black dye. That's the most expensive dye. o_o

Nowadays people are just being newbs and trying to milk out every single piece of gold they can get. I'll list some common prices of what dyes can be bought for without paying out your ass.

Black - 4.5-5k
Silver - 500-600g
Blue - 200-300g
Red - 200-350g
Yellow - 100g or less, really cheap ass dye
Green - 100-150g
Purple - 100-150g
Orange - 100-150g

Think thats all of them, thats the prices I usually go by for buying and selling. Doesn't take me long to buy dyes for the prices I ask for if anyone decides to post up a reply saying that the amounts I listed are bull, heh.
